Somewhat Lancelike
sighted Death Cap on
This thing was so large, I spotted it from across the street. The photo’s not good because it was 10 feet behind a tall fence. I wasn’t sure what it was until I saw another photo here of a death cap with a similar large flat top and visible ring. I’m still not totally sure. Size is estimated from a distance.

Difficult. What is the black thing right under the hat? A snake? Could it be a Champignon ( ad we name these kind of edable mushrooms)
