This is from the tree roots and they look like common chanterelles. But afraid to eat unless sure. I have a ton of them growing

Please don’t eat unless you are positive. The old saying when in doubt throw them out. I am not sure if it is a chanterelle. Get a book and talk to someone who knows. Chanterelle don’t grow on wood
