sighted Belted Kingfisher on
I lived here three years and this is the first sighting of this bird. The temperature dropped last night to 45° and the wind is blowing about 10 to 15 mph. He landed on my bulkhead above 20 feet from me (I was inside), and then flew off into the wind. My wife was with me and saw it and confirmed the sighting.
